Had such an awesome time at BRIDEX today. Too bad it ended sooner rather than later. Watched some spectacular demonstration, and not to mention those Jets soaring through the blue skies, roaring from the afterburners.

Sorry haven't update lately......be habuk dah blog ane....wahahhaha....

What we have in common...?!?!?

We have 'Fever'...don't know what I'm talking about...?? visit this >> FEVER

Yeah I know....'LAME'.....hahahah

Anyway, today was the first day of school.... and we have 4 new in-service student us and 3
familiar faces who would be joining us this year....I'll update on that on later post....

The day started with a temperature check from the teachers before entering the building... and you know what... my body was 28°C....WTH..!! is this normal....?!?!?

The average human body is 37°C.... since everyone was saying that it's still early in the rainy morning, so I just go on with it...

Spent the morning with no class, thus gives us time to give a warm welcome the new intakes.... and chill at our old class...because there's no air conditioner at our new class.. :'(

Then, had lunch with Sir. Aji...his treat...BTW thanks Sir....After that another temperature check at 2.oo pm....

So now my temperature reading is 38°C....which is slightly more than average... I actually tought it was ok....how wrong could I be....

With a worrying face on Sir. Aji's face, he took another reading after everyone was checked... and
it increased....by....0.2°C...

Called into the staff & gave me a mask and told me to go to the Sick Bay....I'm sure I'm not sick... well I think so.... maybe just a normal fever....nothing serious....

So there I was on the bed waiting the time to strike 4.30 pm....

Since it was also the registration for the new intakes....the Instructors was giving a tour of the Resource Center to the new students....

AAARRRRGGGGHHH..!!!.....hahahahah.....Didn't sceramed in depression, I just kept my cool and lay calmly on bed until the end....

MTSSR Trip To Institut Latihan Perindustrian Miri.

I'll start off after Sir Aji picked me up from home around 7am. Now we're on our long journey to reach our destination. Before that, we stopped to have breakfast at the one and only K.K Koya.

Just Left My Crib.

Excusez-moi .... KANYANG EYH.....!!! Next we fill up the gas.....then another couple of hour driving...

Owh....forgot to mention who are coming to this trip:

After a few stops....we finally reached Sarawak.....YAHOOOO!!!

Time to change our money..... so we headed to e-mart.....then our our hotel room at Eastwood Valley.

At e-mart.

We rested only for half an hour.... since it's friday....the guys went to the Mosque to do our Friday prayer....while the girls just stay at their room relaxing....

Sir Aji was in this picture but I cut him out.(on the right) Since he's not wearing his shirt you could see his love handles....wahaha....even so, I don't want to ruin his dignity.

After that, we went to e-mart again to have lunch at Sugar Bun..... And then headed straight towards ILP at 2.00 pm.

Since the electricity was down...we had our welcoming speech outside of the auditorium....never thought that it was windy there.... The building was clean since it was formed in 2007... Just so you know, the power was down the whole entire trip.

First stop, to the computer room. It was filled with disassembled computers. And the next one was filled with fully functional computers.

YO...!!! What's Up DUDE..?!?!?!

On we go to a more familiar room....the Telecommunication room....you could see a distribution pole at the center of the room....The electricity was still down, I'm starting to sweat....so lets move on quickly.

As you could've guessed, the only building with electricity was the Electical building....how about that..! Filled with circuit boards, wires, switches, cabinets, danger signs, motors, a transformer & a generator.

Next we went outside to a small house filled with wires. It was used for wiring class.

Up next is the air-conditioning & purification building. For a room filled with many air-conditioner, it sure is hot in there...These buildings are actually in Malay. I just roughly translate them to English...WHY? Because I'm awesome....hahaha....*sigh* Moving on....

Up next was the Piping building.... Not so much here since the staff was about to close it...

Now we're at the...umm....I can't seem to recall the name of the building... It was filled with sketches of cars, planes, boats, buildings, etc. They even have this plastic & wood models that the students themselves create either using hand or using a 3D computer software.

All of Them are Made Using the Computers.

Of all the models that they made...there is one in particular .....

HAHAHA.... A colorful cardboard Tiara held together using a staple...

The most interesting thing about this place is that it have a studio at which students can jam together after school. They could even record it.... how awesome is that !?!?! Unfortunately they have to pay....the good thing is that it's cheap.... So I just play around with the drums & Edah got a chance to play the guitar..

That's the end for the trip... It was fun while it lasted...

But wait the day didn't stopped here....

We went to a brand new restaurant called Simply Eaton to have a buffet.....It was okay I guess....

Then we headed back to the hotel and rested for a little while.....

At 8, we went to Utama Grand to have a friendly bowling match.... and have lots of fun..

Today was our last day of school, before the holidays that is.

Now my days of being a PND student has now officially ended, also to those who got promoted to ND1 as well. To those who are repeating next month, don't give up... OR ELSE..!!! hahahah

Not many came today since some people are already in the holiday mood.

In the morning, we did some cleaning up for the new semester. Thanks to some ELE students from downstairs, less work for us....Hooorrraaayyy...!!!

Now all the posters are taken down & the tables drawers are cleared to be set aside.

Then at twelve, Treating Kaka Wina, MaliQ & Naz lunch.......not all of course........they pay a little........well mostly me XD

Then spent the afternoon chillin' with Sir.Aji at the canteen and playing PING-PONG.

The name of our group has now been removed and is replaced by a new one.....

So...umm...well....you know....uhhh....we went to Berakas Beach today and had our own little outing...

I don't know how to start this post so I'll just tell you what we did, aight?!?!?

Woke up from sleep.
Razik pick me up from home. Joining him was Zaman.
Reached our destination, but the entrance is still closed so we waited almost half an hour until it's open.
Dyn arrived.
Unpack our things and start to light up the barbecue place.

We've just finished our phase test - HOORAYYYY...!!! ND here we come.

Now that we've finished, we have a lot of free time. Unfortunately we still have to go to college.

3 days absent = No Allowance

Here's how it goes

Break time, the time when we're discussing where to have lunch. Kaka Wina was doing her Practical Computing assignment + Talking & remembered that she wants to borrow MaliQ's Microsoft Office 2007 installer which is at home.

Since his home is not far away from the beach, I said why don't we have lunch there. Kaka Wina, Maj, MaliQ & Naz agreed. Unfortunately Dayah & Ida can't come with us :'(

Now off we go to buy Nasi Katok & Ice Lemon Tea, grabbed some spoons, cups & not to mention the CD from MaliQ's crib.

The sound of waves crashing to the sandy shore can be heard as we find a spot to eat.

Since It's still early, we decided to play at the playground....

For some reason there is an Aerobic activity at the Multi Purpose Hall at 2.00 pm....don't know why ?!?!?

Since today's Wednesday, we were supposed to have E.C.A which is cancelled so no Japanese Language today....

We've just made a new WORLD RECORD...HOORAYYY..!!!

In celebration for the 25th anniversary of Brunei's Independence Day...We are grilling satays for people to enjoy...

Here's What Happened today

9.55am - Just arrived at Jerudong Park Food Court.

On the other side, Maliq, Naz, Maj & Ida were waiting for the bus to pick them up from school. It finally arrived at probably around 12 am.

01:30pm - Then we gathered at a place to have lunch.

01:50pm - We were told to be at our tents to start burning up the charcoals.

3:30pm - The 'salai-ing' starts.

4:00 - Finally after a long hard work covered in sweat & smoke, we were able to have a good long rest.

As the Charcoal turns to white warm ashes, everyone scatter to head on home.

There is much to tell in our little tale today, but theres so many story, so little time. & now I better head on to my notes for revision...

Actually it smells more like floor detergent to me.

We just had our cleaning campaign this morning, Hooray!

NOW our floor is 70% sparkly clean & the whiteboard is white as snow with a little drop of blueberry syrup on top XD

Well, we didn't do a perfect job of cleaning the class, but still it was better than before.

In the midst of morning, Maliq arrived in class just to trash the class. Joining him was his sidekick Nazirul & also acquainted by Majorie. Since I'm not in the scene that time, I don't know who did what to make such awfull mess.

So after a few minutes of Investigation, they finally cracked and confessed. But unfortunately I forgot who was responsible......I Will Blame......All of Them.....wawawawawawaw.....

Today, the people of Electronic & Communication Engineering which consist of the PND (that's us), ND1 & ND2, had planned an outing at Pantai Seri Kenangan in Tutong. This also includes our lovable MTSSR Instructors.

I'm not going to write much about this, just the tiny details on which I can remember.

We took off from Rimba Gadong Residence at +8:15 just after setteling our stuff & picking up everyone. Here are the list of people riding in Razik's & Zudin's car.

So we arrived scanning the surrounding area looking for presence of the other ECE's.
It was thoughtful of them to put a HUGE sign saying Electronic Communication Outing with a parabola dish & a two headed arrow you can't even miss.

The people of ND1 & 2 have already arrived early. They have even started barbequeing the chickens & sausages as the tent was covered with smoke.

So, the first event to be sceduled was the fishing competition. Since none from either side of the three groups caught anything, they canceled the event.

The rest of the other events will start in the afternoon just after having lunch.

Since it's still early in the morning, we played a little game of beach football just to pass up the time.

The afternoon activities will shortly start just after eating lunch. First up was the thug of war (Tarik Kalat). No suprise here, we happily lost all the rounds. At least we lost with STYLE.

Lets Celebrate.

The next activity was the reversed three legged race, me with Zaman & adeq With her boyfriend (sorry forgot his name)

This is the only activity to have won by PND. Lets have a minute of silence to commemorate this joyous moment.

*DEAD SILENCE*

YEAH...!!

OK, moving on.....Then we played a little game called donor. Since there's no picture taken that time, I don't exactly know how to completely explain it, so here it goes.

5 people...uhh...pass Balloon filled with water....umm....balloon pops, we have to start all over again....that's all I can say really.

Next up was the Train of balloon pulses.

Again, we lost...wawawawawa

And the last was capturing those small crabs by the seashore. We came up in third place capturing only +20 crabs. Second was ND 1 also with +20. At first place was savagely won by ND2 with +60. Most of the crabs was killed to be captured :'(

Reasons:

Lack of resource to run the story.
Don't have enough time (Busy with work) *what work?*

Takes an eternity to upload photos.

If that's not a good enough reason for why, Then there's one more thing I want to say.....

OK this is yet another post which dosen't have anything to do with our group/class of PD/ECE/15 intake. This only involve Me, Maliq & Naz. So if Abg is reading this, I'm giving you a heads up first. XD

So the day started off just after finishing the 2nd Language & Communication Phase Test in the morning. At 10 o'clock we headed to the staff rooms, hunting down the Instructors just to know whether we would have our normal, tiring, afternoon class or not.

When we crept in the staff room,then there was a cold chill rushing out of the room. The place seems to be deserted. Even the staff parking lots was empty. The three of us debated whether we should go to our place or MAMIH Sungai Hanching.

Since my brother told me that invited lots of his friends to my beautiful home today, we decided to go to MAMIH instead. Nothing interesting here I suppose. We did the usual, log into the wireless, Maliq with his Tibia, ordered 3 nasi lemak bungkus, 2 Coke & a Pepsi
(whats the difference? for one thing, it's the spelling....wawawawa)

Next up on today's agenda is going to AREN@ at lambak which is just above WYWY restaurant.

Since the two of them are tired of LOSING to me... :P, we tried different unusual rack formation just for the sake of our little minds. Retarded?! I think not....wawawawa

So we played there for two hours which is waisting $10 of our money.. . :'(

After a tiring round of pool, we headed to Ayamku which is just across the other building to grab a bite to eat.

Sports Day.

Today at 1:30pm, we held the first of the 3 Sports Day event at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
The next two will be held at the 19th & 20th(main event) of November also at the same place & time.

Male 5000 m, Male Discus, Male High Jump, Male & Female Long Jump.

So we arrived just 15 minutes early just after leaving my crib.

Before the any of the events start, we gathered at the registration.

Other than sitting there being PRETTY, we took pictures with our newly worn shirt, LOTS OF 'EM. Not to brag, so far people from other departments seem to like the design, even the teachers.

I didn't expected to get the attention that much. :P

Everyone was spirited for the event to start. Some of the Instructors was geared up with their huge cameras around their necks. I've just realized that cowboy hats are on the rage. XD

After taking another few dozen pictures, the event finally starts. Since I have lack of resource for the day's event, I will only cover the stories which only include our class.

Final words for the athletes. Go For GOLD

First up to the winners podium was Majorie for the Female Long Jump Event.

She had won the first GOLD Medal for our department. *TWO THUMBS UP*

Don't forget to smile for the camera...hehehehe

The second person to stand up on the podium was Maliq. He entered the Male Discus event.

He wasn't expecting to win anything because he was intimidated by other fellow athletes, they are HUGE. Instead he did a Good job for winning a Bronze medal.

Lastly was Shamsul with the 5000m run.

He came up in third place.

So today Sports Day ended with the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department winning two Bronze & a Gold medal, all of them won by our class.

Shortly after the Medal presentation was over, we gathered at the track to rehearse the track March for the main event on the 20th.

The day ended with smiles on everyone's faces followed by small shower rain just after everyone was dismissed.

Finally, after a week of sleeping late & waking up at 3 in the morning just to revise ALL OF MY STUDIES, the first Phase Test is no more....*sob*

Nighty-Night...

Teacher's day celebration.

So last Saturday, 1st November, we had our teacher's day celebration. Instead, we as in Maliq, Naz & Me, went swimming at the stadium. Well it's not our group activity, but still it involves the students at PD/ECE/15.. :P

We did attended the morning 'tahlil'. Then we skipped the day's celebration after everyone gathered at the hall. Before leaving the college, Qilah decided to join & she was invited.

Before we start splashing around, we went to Hua Ho Manggis, had breakfast at Jasmine restaurant near Teguh Raya and spent an hour at Battle Zone to play C.S. Then we headed to the stadium's swimming pool at around 11 am.

We didn't do much there. Nothing interesting happened either. Just another afternoon swim, don't get me wrong, we still had lots of fun.

Phase Test.

If you need to know, our phase test starts on Monday, that is on 3rd November 2008. Didn't realize it is almost the end of the year.

What is a 'phase test' you say..??? I think it's more like monthly exams. Nonetheless, we still have to answer questions from that white printed A4 paper we all LOVE to HATE...

I haven't listed our phase test timetable. Maybe on the next post.

My preparations for the test...??? Well I haven't started revising any of my studies if that what you're asking... No wonder my result sucks.....HAHAHAH.....hope the test would be easy....XD

OK, enough talk...! I think it would be best for me to revise, don't you think so???....*I think I can, I think I can*....

On this day we had a trip to DST HQ at Tungku Link.

So we all gathered at around 8.30 am....Since my dad work there, I arrived early. So i have to wait for an hour for the others. Luckily Amirul, Maliq, Naz & Zaini arrived early.

After everyone have arrived, we went into a theater room on the first floor. So the tour started off after a short briefing of what we're going to do.

First, we headed off to the 11th floor of the building. Not much to say here, the only thing we did was taking pictures...XD

I was a little bit excited to ride the glass elevator. It was my first time as well....SAKAI....:P

Then we headed to DST Care 151. I did not remember which floor it was on. Sorry no pictures taken here. Again, nothing interesting to say...I was busy watching 'Harry and his bucket full of dinosaur' which was showing on the flat screen T.V.......HAHAHAHAHAH.....moving on..

Next we went to Kristal FM studio. We even went on air.

Next we went upstairs from the studio. I don't remember what part of DST it was. I do remembered them talking about GSM, 2G/3G coverage in Brunei, comparison of DST with B.Mobile & TelBru & other communication stuff.....

After that, we headed back to where the briefing takes place. This time we were given a slide show about what DST is, other type of DST services. Personally I think the room sliding wall was AWESOME.

Finally the moment I've been waiting for...*drum roll*....

BREAKFAST at *No...not at Tiffany's* but DST canteen. I was a little bit hungry from all the walking. They only served 'Teh Tarik', 'Karipap' & 'Begedil'. It wasn't the best I had, at least they gave us free food.
